Halle Berry, born August 14, 1966, was named after Halle’s Department Store, a local landmark in her birthplace of Cleveland, Ohio. Her parents divorced when she was four years old and raised by her mom exclusively. She is one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood and also a Revlon spokesperson. Before becoming an actress, Berry entered several beauty contests, winning Miss Teen All-American in 1985 and Miss Ohio, 1986, then finishing runner-up in the Miss USA 1986 and winning the Miss USA World 1986 title. In 1989, during the taping of a television series, she lapsed into a coma and was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus type 1. Halle has appeared in 40 films and televison series and just announced a new film, Nappily Ever After. She has played Catwoman, a Bond girl and everything in between. She’s beautiful and states still looking for true love.

She's beautiful Dyanne. You've captured her exquisite bone structure so perfectly. I hadn't known these facts about Halle...She is only 7 years younger than I am? That surprises me; she looks 20 years younger, easily.
