180 artists painted one another orchestrated by Karin Jurick, Atlanta, Different Strokes From Different Folks. Visit to see all the interpretations and all the artists that participate in this great challenge. Karin posts a photo, and artists all over the world create their interpretation. I have been doing this for one year. I really enjoyed this challenge. I love doing portraits and I enjoyed painting Tari as she is beautiful and and a wonderful artist. Visit her blog to see the portrait she created of me in pastels. She is amazing.

You did beautifully with this portrait challenge, and I loved how Kari painted you too. Nice to put a face to the blog too...
Hey, there I am! Wow, what a beautifully painted portrait - great job!
Interesting that the two photos show different sides of Kari T. Your photo shows the "business" side of Kari which is beautifully rendered. Nice shading, colors, shapes. Great job! Hard to paint glasses and eyes together. You did it with excellence. And strokes in hair are so well crafted with graceful curves/strokes, and perfectly colored/painted.
Kari's profile photo is more contemplative and with the bangs shifted to one side, longer hair, & no glasses, she shows a different version of herself. I'm still trying to see her as the same person in each of these photos. Pretty in both.
Great job Dyanne - her expression is strong but peaceful... great brushstrokes... well done!
It's been enjoyable to match up the portraits with the artists who have participated in the DSFDF challenges. You've done a beautiful job here - the glasses are especially well rendered.
Wonderful job with the portrait, Dyanne.
wonderful entry for this DSFDF your both well matched.
It such a beautiful portrait, Dyanne!
